Wow! Another great question! You’ve certainly got your thinking cap on! Most clients already own their own domain name and so they are responsible for renewing that every year or two. Besides that, You’ll just need to make an annual payment to us in order to cover your hosting renewal fees. We have to hire space on a super fast computer (server) that is always connected to the internet where your website can live and be accessed 24/7. Our hosting partners charge a small annual hosting fee typically around £150 to keep the website up and running.
Listing products on your website is completely free but you will need a payment processor to safely and securely handle payments made by your customers for products on your website. The two most popular payment processors are PayPal and Stripe and each of them charge a tiny fee plus a percentage of the sale price. At the time of writing this, PayPal are currently charging 30p + 2.9% of the final sale price. So if you made a sale of £15, PayPal would charge 74p to process the payment. Stripe has similar fees. But that’s it! Simples!
